Top 10 Coworking Spaces in Pakistan

According to the global online marketplace “coworker,” there are over 100 small co-working places in Pakistan. But only a few of these Coworking Spaces in Pakistan can fit more than 100 people.

At the end of graduation, very few startups have been able to turn their idea into a business that can run on its own. Most recent college grads don’t have enough money to rent an office, which is essential for a startup as it grows. One easy way to solve this problem is to use co-working spaces, which let people work alone while sharing an office and other services. Then, startups can connect with and talk to other entrepreneurs and freelancers.

They can also contact venture capitalists, angel investors, and advisers. Co-working areas are also great places to learn and meet new people. As their teams get more prominent, freelancers who usually work from home can use these shared workspaces.

  • Collabs

Some bias never hurt anyone, and Colabs is an excellent example of all the points made so far. This is by far the best coworking space in Lahore, and it’s still growing. There are now two more great Coworking Spaces in Pakistan: Gulberg 2 and Johar Town.   We offer private offices for large teams and small places for small groups with flexible monthly plans. Collabs, started and made by brothers Omar Shah and Ali Shah, is an excellent example of a prominent coworking place that has been thoughtfully planned to encourage a culture of working together.   It has different rooms for meetings, workshops, and networking events. It also has a garden on the roof and a terrace, among other things. With locker rooms, a multipurpose studio, and a lounge area, this is the perfect place for freelancers or anyone who needs an office space to meet their needs. • Daftarkhwan

Another example of a beautifully designed office that is very helpful for business owners and other professionals is Daftarkhwan. As their slogan says, “Reinventing the way you work since 2016,” this agile workplace offers affordable workstations for small to large teams. They have also been at the center of building communities through programs like Daftarkhwan VC Exchange, which helps startups connect with and pitch to multiple leading investors in one-on-one investment meetings.  Daftwarkhwan is one of the most extended coworking spaces in Lahore and is now open in all three of the country’s major cities: Lahore, Rawalpindi, and Islamabad. • Plan 9 TechHub

Many people know that Plan9 is an incubator for tech companies, but they don’t see that it’s also a cutting-edge place for freelancers to work. Plan9 opened in 2012 and has become a popular spot for tech fans.  Pakistan has been named as one of the five busiest places to work on Freelancer and oDesk. Plan9 is an effort by the Punjab Government to give them affordable workspaces every three months. This room is on the 5th floor of Arfa Software Technology Park in Lahore. It’s a good place for freelancers and would-be entrepreneurs to work together and meet new people. Freelancers can use all of the space’s amenities, including the help of an in-house business development consultant, and are 144 spots open for them.

  • WeCreate Pakistan

Today, I’d like to introduce you to WeCreate, the only incubator and co-working space built specifically for women professionals and entrepreneurs. This space helps women start businesses and grow existing ones. The U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Economic and Business Affairs (EB) and TiE Islamabad worked together to create the WeCreate Center, a safe and central place for female professionals and entrepreneurs to get essential resources to help them succeed in business. This place is excellent for women because it has workspaces, meeting rooms, a prayer area, a daycare for working moms, storage, and a self-help kitchen. The WeCreate Center also has a lot of other classes, such as the StartUp Academy. SheTalks will help women access markets and capital through mentoring, networking, and specific training.  The space is in F-11 Markaz, Islamabad, and is built in a way that makes women feel at home. Women run it to help women feel like they belong.

  • The Hive

The Hive is one of the oldest and most creatively designed spaces, with eggs and hanging chairs placed just right. However, it is a bit more expensive than the other sharing spaces we’ve discussed. The Hive has fully managed offices and Coworking Spaces in Pakistan that can be expanded to fit the needs of professionals, small teams, and established businesses. It has workspaces in three cities: Islamabad (Blue Area), Lahore (DHA), and Karachi (Clifton). Together, they cover more than 125,000 square feet. There are also meeting rooms and event halls that you can rent to fit up to 30 to 40 people.  They also offer serviced offices for ease of use, scalability, and efficiency and standard and custom-built offices for big teams. There is a bright future for coworking places in Pakistan. They can be great alternatives for people to get together and work together when rents are going up, infrastructure costs are going up, and there are even security problems.

Office is the place to go in Lahore if you or a group need office space. There is fast internet, meeting rooms, and more at the facilities—office space. Basecamp is the only co-working space in KPK, by a long shot. It’s a one-of-a-kind community and co-working place made just for Pakistani startups. Basecamp allows its members to meet other businesses, experts, and investors. Basecamp doesn’t yet offer access 24 hours a day, seven days a week, but we’ve heard that a plan is in the works. Basecamp is one of the best places to work with other people if you live in northwest Pakistan.

  • IVY

IVY is one of the first places in Islamabad where tech companies and freelancers can work, setting up a business environment similar to an office. People can be more effective and make more money at IVY because it has well-equipped spaces. Freelancers and business owners who work from home and want to take their business to the next level will find this service more cost-effective. This space company also gives its residents a ready-to-go workspace with valuable tools. IVY is still pretty new, so there aren’t as many people and teams yet, but the project looks promising.

Pakistan’s co-working business has come a long way since it began. Co-working places are now a very successful business. A lot of high-tech corporate buildings are being built in Pakistan.
